Krauser appears to be alive and well, and working for the wrong side in the current situation. Although Krauser is aiding 'Los Illuminados' he does not appear to be controlled by a parasite. Still, his abilities seem to be augmented to superhuman levels. Krauser's military training and combat prowess already made him more than a match for Leon, so it seems that the traitorous commando may prove more than the would-be rescuer can handle. Who is Krauser truly working for, and what is his role in the abduction of the First Daughter?
