Robert Kendo
Information
Japanese-American survivor who Leon S. Kennedy first met after he arrived in Raccoon City. Robert is the owner of the Kendo Gun Shop right next to the police station, and his hobby is fishing.
He developed a strong relationship with Barry Burton, gun expert for team S.T.A.R.S., and even let Barry call him Bob. Perhaps it was because he freely handed out weapons to the remaining citizens, but after the outbreak, there were no good weapons left in the shop, and he wasn't able to fully defend himself with his pathetic weaponry.
Although the customization of the S.T.A.R.S. handgun, the Samurai Edge, was assigned to Robert, the actual work was left to his older brother, Joe Kendo. Since S.T.A.R.S. was generously receiving money from Umbrella, Joe was able to use extremely high-performance parts in the rebuilt guns.
Leon Meets Robert Kendo
As Leon entered Gun Shop Kendo, he suddenly found himself held at gun point by Robert Kendo. As Ada also drew her weapon on Kendo, they both noticed Kendo's daughter Emma. As she shuffled towards them Ada cold-heartedly instructed Kendo to setp aside so they could terminate Emma who was clearly suffering from infection.
Hearing this, Kendo lashed out at both of them, especially towards Leon. Who, in Kendo's eyes had failed them while wearing the RPD uniform.
Jill Meets Robert Kendo
After narrowly escaping Nemesis in the Demolition Site, Jill makes her way to Gun Shop Kendo. As this occurs before Leon arrives, Kendo is much more friendly towards Jill. Although, this is also due to Kendo being a close friend of Barry Burton and the other STARS members.
Jill tries to convince Kendo to join them. However, Kendo quickly mentions that he will make other arrangements. As Jill notices Kendo's sudden change in attitude, she sees him rush off quickly to the shed behind his shop.
