Bitores Mendez
Information
The village chief is an abnormally tall and menacing figure with multi-colored eyes that leads the other villagers in their attacks on Leon.
Unlike other villagers, Mendez seems intelligent and educated, and leaves several written agendas and notes lying around. In their first meeting, Leon experiences the savage strength of the village chief firsthand. What is Mendez's agenda, and what is the secret of his false eye?
First encounter with Mendez
As Leon makes his way through the the Fish Farm, he discovers Luis Sera bound inside a cellar. As Leon starts to untie Luis, Mendez's footsteps can be heard behind them. Luis quickly recognizes Mendez and can be seen genuinely scared of him.
As Leon tries to fight off Mendez, he is easily picked up and thrown across the cellar, incapacitating him. Mendez takes this opportunity to infect Leon with a Plaga.
Second encounter with Mendez
Leon is discovered by Mendez after obtaining the Insignia Key needed to progress toward the church. As Leon tries to exit the room with the key, Mendez blocks his exit with his enormous frame. Leon quickly attacks Mendez point-blank, he is once again thrown across the room in one strike.
As Mendez starts to choke Leon, he realizes Leon has received "the same gift" as he has.
Mendez is quickly interrupted as Ada tries to shoot him from outside his window.
